Sketch to Sleep is a guided online group session (max 10) offered weekly with the intention of being a warm creative care practice for ourselves through the "colder" months. It's like pressing play on a “bedtime podcast” except I am speaking live and there are periods of silence to give time and space to listen to your own creative brain waves. Everyone is encouraged to get cozy and create in how they are feeling called to - sketch, paint, collage, write, etc. Cameras are typically off (except mine) Here is how a typical session flows: >> Introduction to the evenings Theme which sets the tone and is typically related to the season in some way (examples of past themes include: Light at Night, Shades of Shadow, Abundance of Layers, etc.) >> Short & Sweet Prompts x 5 which are short and descriptive prompts to warm up our creative mindset >> Poetic Prompts x 2 which are longer quotes and/or an informal tarot card pull with more abstract meaning embedded >> Guided Visualization uniquely created for the evenings theme and inspired by the current season >> Space to share - the last 15 minutes are reserved for those who like to connect over what we have created but sharing is never mandatory >> Follow-up message - every session has a short follow-up email with links to all resources that may have been referenced throughout the session Create along to the poetic prompts & guided visualization or just listen and let your imagination flow free and ease on into some sweet dreams.
